Description

ISIC (abr. International Student Identity Card) – is the only internationally recognized proof of full time student status. ISIC card not only allows students to prove their official student status but also to make the most of thousands of targeted student benefits and discounts in Lithuania and 130 countries. ISIC card holders get the full access to the greatest discount program for students in the world with more than 150 000 products, services and experiences relevant to all aspects of student life. Every card holder can download the ISIC App for free in order to use Virtual Student ID and see nearby discounts.

Who can get ISIC student card?

Full time students of high schools (colleges and universities).For students in Lithuania ISIC card is issued based on the data in the Student Register.
Full time students of high schools (colleges and universities) who are currently having academic vacation.
Full time students of high schools (colleges and universities) of foreign countries.Foreign students must be able to prove they are currently studying full time at college or university. Therefore, they must submit an official document (Confirmation) that:
• states you are a full time student at your university or college;
• indicates the end date of your studies;
• is dated and signed;
• has been issued not later than 3 months ago.

Who can’t get ISIC student card?

Part time students (additional/ prolonged studies);

How do I obtain an ISIC card?

When will I get my ISIC?	ISIC card will be made in 1-4 work days and sent by post. I didn't get my ISIC. What to do?

If you didn’t get ISIC card that you have ordered, few things could have happened:

there was no data about you in Student Register or it (either Confirmation document) pointed out you could not have ISIC;
photo you uploaded did not comply with the requirements for making ISIC;
if you’ve ordered ISIC with delivery, it is possible that postman haven’t found you at home (postman comes to your home only once!) or address was written incorrectly, so the postal item came back to the post department.

What should you do?

Check the email you pointed out while filling the online order form. It might be you’ve got a letter asking to clarify some of the data/ upload other photo of yours.

Foreign students must be able to prove they are currently studying full time at college or university. Therefore, they must submit an official document (Confirmation) that:

States you are a full time student at your university or college;
Indicates the end date of your studies;
Is dated and signed;
Has been issued not later than 3 months ago.

Validity

Up to 16 months Validity of the ISIC card is fixed. It starts from 1st of September of each year and lasts for 1 academic year (up to 16 months).	In Lithuania and 130 countries
Currently issued ISIC cards are valid until 31^st of December, 2024. For students of the last year ISIC is valid until 30^th of September, 2024 OR until 30^th of May when the study period is shorter than usual (eg. 3.5 years or 1.5 years).	At this moment ISIC card is valid in Lithuania and 130 countries around the world. The whole list of the countries where ISIC card is valid can be found here.

Up to 16 months
