National Youth Theatre, established in 1965 on 29 January. Lithuanian Ministry of Culture in order. Initially, it was called the Young spectator theater, and the State Youth Theatre has gained 17 December 1965. The first premiere of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” (directed by Aurelia Ragauskaitė) was held on 27 May 1966. – This is the official birthday of the State Youth Theatre.

Youth theater debut in young directors: James Vilius round (E. Ionesco “Lesson”), Ignas Jonynas (N.Gogolio “Cloak”), Albert Vidžiūnas (Liūtaširdžiai Brothers “by A. Lindgren), Agni Jankevičius (was forbidden by J.Baltušį).

With ISIC student and ISIC scholar cards, a 30% discount is applied to performances in the Grand Hall and a 10% discount on tickets to performances in Hall 99. ISIC cardholder must present their valid ISIC card.
